Hotel Zamora

Hotel Zamora is a conceptual project focusing on the brand identity of a boutique hotel based in Acapulco, Mexico. The brand draws from motifs of the seaside lifestyle, beaches, the flora and fauna, and vintage paper ephemera. Between the 1940s - 1960s, tourism in Acapulco was at its height, welcoming many notable celebrities from Hollywood and Royalties alike. Today, tourism in Acapulco is seen mostly from within other cities in Mexico such as Mexico City. This helped guide the overall design understanding the contemporary influence in Mexico, whilst mixing vintage nostalgia. Printed collateral was created to represent the hotel such as an in-room compendium highlighting the history of Acapulco and local attractions.
